Development of Tamil Culture
Our activities centre on the development and promotion of the Tamil community and the richness of Tamil language to keen locals and europeans in Berlin and through out Germany. We provide a platform for for those interested to learn about the heritage and richness of the Tamil language and its culture. Berlin Tamil Sangam BTS e.V. also promotes cultural relationships amongst various Tamil communities living in Germany.
OUR VISION
1. The Association will encourage the free exploration of Tamil culture from any perspective that adds to the heritage and development of the Tamil community including promotion of Tamil literature, films and books.
2. In order to serve society in the future, the Association will encourage critical thought, development of new ideas, and openness amongst the members to help integrate new students and families moving to Berlin.
3. The Association will promote cultural engagements to explain the rich heritage of the Tamil people and its community. In this context, we will conduct events demonstrating its history, its methodology, it’s philosophy and its ethics.
4. Both the membership and governance of the Association are specifically constituted in order to embrace all forms of diversity within its membership.
5. The Association intends to ensure that all its processes of discussion, meetings and financial capabilities are transparent and open to all its members. To this end, BTS e.V. will use digital technologies wherever possible, including online conferencing and virtual publication.

Official Registration
Berlin Tamil Sangam e.V. is an officially registered organisation ( Registration Number: VR 36388 B ). We also obtained our non-profit status and have our taxes filed as per the federal government rules.
